The expansion includes the renovation of the existing Terminal D, design and construction of a new six-gate state-of-the-art pier to ready the airport for the future, and a new foreign flag CBIS processor. Currently, the terminal has 12 gates and houses 13 airlines carrying more than 2.4 million passengers a year.
