Supporting Scale Microgrid Solutions, Burns will guide Amond World on design and construction of a cold storage facility that can maintain quality for 50 million pounds of freshly harvested almonds.
Burns will provide electrical and structural designs and construction administration for the electrical and bovada pokermechanical systems including two (2) 1200kW natural gas generators, 1200kW of rooftop solar arrays, 1125kW of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and a central microgrid switchboard and controller.
The state-of-the-art refrigerated cold storage facility in the Madera Airport Industrial Park is scheduled to complete construction in early 2023.
